mi sembra interessante la spiegazione che è stata ipotizzata sul titolo, il ragionamento sembra filare con l'idea della nave fantasma perché c'è un vecchio detto che dice così:

Red sky at night,
Sailor's delight;
Red sky at morning,
Sailor's warning.

cioè:
Cielo rosso di sera,
delizia del marinaio;

Int. Elegant Home---Sitting Room—Day

We get a close up shot of a photo of a smiling, lively Sheila. From off screen we hear Gertrude Case, a lady in her 70s, talking about how she doesn’t understand why Dean and Sam are there, clad in their department store suits, because she’s already talked to the other Detectives.

Dean quickly interjects that they’re with another department. Sheriff’s not the Police…totally different. Sam cuts him off and addresses Mrs. Case. Gertrude turns toward Sam, clearly liking him and gives him the ‘oh-yeah-I-could-so-rob-the-cradle-for-you’ eyes as she tells him to call her Miss.

Sam gives a nervous cough, and states that Ms. Case was the one who found her niece. Gertrude adds that she had come home to find her niece on the shower floor. Dean chimes in that she had apparently drowned and Gertrude states that the coroner said it was just that.

Dean asks if there was a lot of water and Gertrude says that their wasn’t even a drop, and asks the boys how someone could drown like that. Sam steers the conversation to Sheila’s behavior in the days before her death and Gertrude states that Sheila didn’t kill herself if that’s what he’s implying.

Sam quickly backtracks and says that he meant if Sheila seemed frightened or was speaking about things out of the ordinary. Gertrude stops and her eyes narrow, she’s figured it out, and states rather convinced that the boys are working with Alex.

The boys got no real clue who Alex is, but they run with it, and Dean says totally know the guy, very close. Gertrude seems to have gotten a second wind and asks why they didn’t tell her sooner. Alex has been a comfort and she’s sorry, because she thought the case was solved.

Sam says its not, and Gertrude gives them a confused reply and Sam tries to turn the subject back to her niece. Gertrude admits that Sheila said something strange before she died, something about seeing a boat. She goes on to say that Sheila said one minute it was there, and the next it was gone. Just disappeared. Gertrude then asks the boys if they think it’s a ghost ship, because Alex thinks it’s a ghost ship.

The boys are taken back a bit because hello, this chica’s discussing ghosts. They trade looks and know for a fact they got a live one here. Sam admits that it could be, and Gertrude tells them that if a spirit killed her niece she wants the thing burned to dust and asks if the boys understand. Dean gives her a thumbs up and tells her loud and clear.

Gertrude steps forward, way too close into Sam’s personal space. And tells him to let her know if there’s anything else that she can do, and takes his hand and repeats that really, anything at all. Dean barely manages to stifle a laugh.

Ext. Main Street—Day

Sam and Dean are walking along a busy sidewalk. It’s a catalog version of a Main Street and there are banners announcing the annual Seafarer’s Ball that’ll be held at the Sea Pines Maritime Museum. Random Scene:

Sam asks what kind of help Bela is asking for and she tells him that she needs dates. Sam says dates as in plural?

Ext. Maritime Museum—Night

A big three story mansion is surrounded with couples in suits and cocktail dresses as they mingle on the front lawn.

Int. Maritime Musuem—Ballroom—Night

It’s an elegant setting, and a bit stale as couples stream through the front doors. Dean and Bela enter. Dean looks stunning in a very nice tailored suit and Bela is on his arm, dressed in a designer gown.

Dean is stunned by the lavish gathering and Bela notices. She tells Dean to put his eyes back in their sockets and act like they lived this life before. Dean changes his demeanor, to calm, cool, collected as they enter the room revealing the couple behind them.

Its Sam in his very sexy suit and his date….Gertrude dressed matronly stylish. She grabs Sam’s hand gushingly and tells Sam that this will get everyone’s tongues wagging. She calls him Adonis…and Sam looks as if he’s taking g-ma to the prom, but remains the gentlemen as he reminds her that they are here on business.

Gertrude points out the business can be pleasure and Sam asks if he can be excused for just a second. He steps into the room and finds Dean and Bela, pointedly asking how long they expect him to entertain his ‘date’.

Bela says as long as it takes and before Sam can object, Dean cuts him off. He tells his younger bro that without Gert’s tickets they would be here so he has to take one for the team. Sam reminds his brother that he has limits in what he is willing to do, and Dean tells him that playing hard to get is so cute. He slaps his brother on the back, totally enjoying Sam’s discomfort and tells him that big bro wants all the details in the morning.

Sam takes a step toward Dean when he’s tapped on the shoulder. He turns to see Gertrude standing before him holding two glasses of champagne. Sam takes one and Gertrude makes a toast to the two of them. Sam knocks back the champagne in one grip, and looks more than a little nauseous.

Random Scene:

Dean states that the women they left was a crazy old broad and that he should stay with her though, some water would help settle her stomach. The security guard informs him that they do have water in the office. Dean presses saying that Sparkling water is the only thing that really works and flashes a smile as the Security guard rolls his eyes at the rich of the world.

Dean goes on to say that if the security thinks that she’s a pain in the ass then he should try living with her. Security gives him an understanding nod and heads down the hall. Dean thanks him.

Int. Maritime Museum—Ballroom—Night

The dance floor is full. Sam is dancing with Gertrude and she’s never looked happier although Sam looks like he’s hearing his own hellhounds scratching at the door. Gertrude asks Sam is he knows where Alex and his friend are at because they are missing a great party.

Sam states that he’s sure they are entertaining themselves. Gertrude says then she guesses that they’ll just have to entertain themselves as she dances closer to Sam. The younger Winchester bro quickly says that he doesn’t want her to get the wrong impression of him.

Gertrude tells him to call her Gert and states that Sam reminds her of her late husband because he was shy too until they got below decks…She wraps her hand around Sam’s waist and Sam checks his watch only to frown when he realizes that Gert has used the opportunity to slide her hands south of the Mason Dixon Line. (got to give the woman props for effort though huh?)

Sam gives a surprised outburst and Gert grins devilishly and states that Sam’s just firm all over. Sam looks at the ceiling as if it holds the answer to why the hell its taking Dean so damn long.

Int. Maritime Museum—2nd Flood—Archive room—Night

Dean stands in front of a podium with a glass box on top. A withered, calcified hand is inside the display case and at the bottom is a quarter sized alarm. Dean removes his small kit of tools and gets to work on the alarm system.

Int. Maritime Museum—2nd Flood—Office—Night

Bela walks around the room, bored and picks up a six inch Lucite paperweight from the desk. She inspects it lazily when she hears a knock. Its Security as he calls from off screen.

Ext. Maritime Museum—2nd Floor—hallway Night

It’s security holding the water and opening the door when Bela suddenly appears, effectively preventing the door from being opened any further. Her lipstick is smeared and her gown is off at the shoulder as she holds it up against her chest.

Int/ Maritime Museum—2nd Floor—Office—Night

Dean enters as Bela is making herself presentable, pulling up her dress etc. Dean asks if she had any trouble, and Bela states that it wasn’t anything she couldn’t handle. Dean just shakes his head and Bela asks about the hand. Dean pulls it out from his jacket and shows her. Bela asks if she can take it, and Dean simply tells her no.

Bela argues that it might be more inconspicuous in her purse and Dean just smiles and tells her nice try. Bela smiles back and states that she just wants to be helpful, and Dean repeats the question while taking a scarf from around her neck and wrapping the hand in it before placing it in his jacket pocket. Then proceeds to thank her.

Int. Maritime Museum—Ballroom—Night

Another slow dance and Gert is way too friendly with the champagne bottle, and rests her head against Sam’s chest. Sam states that this song is waaaayyyy too long and Gert is pretty dreamy when she states that she hopes it lasts all night before asking how the investigation is going. Sam states that these kind of things take time.

Gertrude tells him that people are talking about the Warren brother deaths and its strange. She asks if Sam thinks its connected to Sheila’s and he replies that yeah, they think so. Gertrude states that she thinks they had it coming in a Biblical sort of way.

Sam asks what she means and since she’s tipsy and in the gossip mode Gertrude lifts her head to look at Sam. She hints that Sam should know about the Warren brother’s farther. Sam says no, and Gert tells him she’ll whisper it to him.

Sam sighs and leans over. Gert moves her lips to Sam’s ear, (show of hands—who thinks this is getting weird and awkward…*shudders*). She coyly tells him that people don’t think their father didn’t die of natural causes. When Sam asks how then exactly, and Gertrude nibbles his ear something Sam tolerates as long as he’s getting answers.

Gert tells him that the rumor goes the boys did it, and although it was never proven people talk. Sam’s mind is racing by this point as he begins putting together a theory and he asks Gert if Sheila had a connection to the brothers. Gert tells him that she doesn’t know of one, and Sam inquires to whether or not Sheila had a tragedy happen in her life.

Gert thinks for a second then states that there was a car accident when Sheila was a teenager. Sam asks what happened and Gertrude tells him that the car flipped over and Sheia was okay, but her cousin was killed.

Sam holds Gert away from him, and looks at her in a new light. Gert asks why that’s important and Sam gives her a long, interested look. Its extremely important.

Suddenly, Dean and Bela have returned and Bela asks if they are having a nice time. Gert steps away from Sam and gives Bela a kiss on the cheek, answering her question by saying that it was delightful because Sam wants her.

Bela jokes that she’s gonna go get Gert put into a cold shower and Sam says that’s a good idea. Bela tells them that she will meet them at the cemetery. Dean opens his jack, looks inside his pocket. The wrapped scarf is inside.

Int. Maritime Museum—parking lot—night

Sam and Dean get into the Impala, slamming the doors. Theres a beat and then Sam’s body goes limp as he asks pretty desperately if Dean got the hand so all that groping by Mrs. Haversham wasn’t for nothing. Dean says that he got it and asks Mrs Who?

Sam tells him nevermind and tells Dean to let him see it. Dean digs into his pocket and takes out the wrapped scarf, something about the weight makes Dean anxious and he quickly unravels the scarf to find that the Lucite paperweight from the office has replaced the hand he had originally stashed.

Dean all too calmly states that he’s going to kill Bela…kill her. Really really gonna kill her.
